The album follows Lily’s move from England to New York, exploring themes of heartbreak, loneliness, and self-discovery across its ten tracks. This project represents her first full-length release with the new label.
The lead single, ‘Uh Huh’, previews Win Win, which was written and recorded over 18 months, largely live and partially to tape. Lily worked with collaborators from both England and New York, developing a sound she describes as “British country music,” influenced by her American environment. The track aimed for a solid, confident groove.
