TOKYO – SiM has unveiled “BLiNDEYES” featuring HANABIE.’s Yukina, preceding their forthcoming album and an extensive global tour.
SiM officially released “BLiNDEYES” featuring Yukina from HANABIE. on May 22, 2026, digitally and with an accompanying music video. The track serves as a single from SiM’s upcoming album, HOOMAN AFTER ALL, slated for a September 2 release via UNFD. Jon Lundin handled production, with Joseph McQueen on the mix.
The album release will be followed by SiM’s HOOMAN AFTER ALL World Tour, commencing in Japan this September before heading to North America in October and November, then the UK and Europe in early 2027. SiM frontman MAH noted he specifically crafted the second verse for Yukina, stating her vocals added “the perfect spice” to his “rage track.”
A Reckoning with Insincere Contrition and Inevitable Retribution
“BLiNDEYES,” the collaboration between SiM and HANABIE., emerged from SiM frontman MAH’s frustration over a band’s hollow apology following a disrespectful encounter. The central motif, “Mou sumimasen deha sumimasen,” carries a dual meaning of polite regret and irreversible damage, capturing the thematic tension of insincere contrition.
