During this period, the band released three albums: Apa Kabar Cinta in 2006, followed by Gelombang Cinta in 2008, and their final album, Yang Ketiga, in 2009.
By 2012, Iksan Skuter decided to depart from Putih Band to embark on a solo career. This decision was influenced by the band’s perceived lack of widespread success and his personal discomfort with life in Jakarta, a sentiment he later explored in his song “Ku Kira Jakarta”.

His solo output proved prolific, with a consistent stream of albums including Folk Populi Folk Dei (2013), Kecil Itu Indah (2014), Shankara (2015), Benderang Terang (2016), and Gulali (2017), the latter earning a nomination as one of Tempo’s best albums of 2017. He continued this pace with albums like Lumintu (2018), Balakosa (2019), Bapakku Indonesia (2019), Selera Nusantara (2020), Codex 13 (2020), Orbit (2021), Blitz (2022), and Pos Ronda vol 1 (2023), with Vis a Vis slated for 2025.
Beyond music, Iksan Skuter expanded his creative endeavors by releasing a book titled ‘confused’ in 2020. This publication served as an anthology of his song lyrics, offering insights into the stories and inspirations behind his compositions. His work often includes personal narratives, such as the reflections on parenthood found in his song “Jangan Seperti Bapak”. He is widely regarded as a philosophical musician hailing from East Java.
